Growing impact with every event

Spark makes events happen. Now every event we manage, every staff member we place, and every flight our team takes plants real restoration into the Australian landscape.

"We are always looking for ways to improve how we manage our clients' events. Minimising each event's footprint has helped us find savings, and we get to reinvest those into growing a natural legacy. Our clients love it."

The Daintree Gateway Restoration Project

Nestled high in Victoria's eastern alpine region, this formerly cleared sheep and cattle farm in Omeo is being reimagined as a thriving mosaic of native forest, restored creeks, and productive farmland. Through a carefully planned reforestation strategy, the landowners are creating vital microclimates to support native biodiversity while improving soil and water health.

Benefits to the environment

Native species like Wedge-tailed eagles, rosellas, and resident emus Ernie and Enzo already call the property home, and this work will give them & their friends even more habitat and food sources. The project will reduce erosion, improve soil structure and help rebuild natural water cycles.

Reforestation plan and approach

Over 180,000 native trees & shrubs will be strategically planted to help slow water flow, filter runoff, and create shelter belts of habitat. The project is also actively working with traditional owners to guide planting & integrate native edibles and cultural knowledge into the restoration.

"It's often little things that leave a lasting impact for event attendees, & now that lasting impact, is something Spark Event Group are actively helping grow & restore - in the Victorian Alps."
